Figure Drawing Model Sessions

This page is for those who wish to take part as a model in a private figure drawing session. The focus is entirely on art, presence, and a calm, respectful process.

I typically like to gift a piece of artwork for your time

Before anything begins, we take time to talk. This is a simple vibe check — a chance to meet, settle in, ask questions, and make sure everything feels comfortable and aligned. You’re welcome to have a drink, listen to music, and arrive at your own pace. The whole session lasts 60 to 90 minutes.

A short consent and understanding form can be completed HERE so everything is clear from the start, including the presence of nudity. There are no surprises and no pressure.

I can also refer reliable models to a larger studio that pays well if interested.

What to Expect

  • A relaxed conversation before we begin
  • Respect, dignity and absolute professionalism
  • A quiet, clean, private space
  • Calm music playing
  • Watercolor painting, pencil or charcoal drawing on paper (15 to 20 mins each)
  • Standing, sitting and reclining poses, guided gently
  • Breaks as needed
  • Nothing strenuous or physically demanding
  • Accessories, props or adornments as you see fit

The session is unhurried and grounded. You are guided only as much as you want to be, and you’re free to speak up or pause at any time. bring your ideas and accessories. Personal items that mean something to you are welcome also.

Who This Is For

This is well suited to people at both ends of the confidence scale, who might be:

  • Curious to see themselves on paper (and take a piece home)
  • Interested in building body confidence through art and overcoming inhibitions
  • People of all shapes and sizes
  • Celebrating their beauty and capturing it through art
  • New or experienced models – no prior skill required though
  • Looking for a unique, calm, edifying experience
  • Exhibitionists – lets face it, some people just love to be seen in all their glory

Feeling nervous or unsure is completely normal and very common — and often exactly why this experience can be meaningful.

Important Notes

  • This is an art session
  • There will not be any inappropriate advances
  • Clear communication and consent are central
  • Privacy and discretion are fully respected

If this feels like the right fit for you, you’re welcome to get in touch so we can schedule a session.
